Indivisible East Oʻahu is a volunteer-led grassroots organization working to protect democracy, safeguard free and fair elections, defend the rights of immigrants and other vulnerable communities, and support leaders who will best serve the people of Hawaiʻi. At a time when democratic norms, civil rights, and the rule of law are under threat, we believe that informed, engaged citizens have the power and responsibility to protect our democracy.
Through election protection efforts, voter outreach, roadside messaging, public advocacy, and support for local candidates who best represent the interests of Hawai'i, our members--made up of neighbors, volunteers, and advocates--are committed to building a more inclusive democracy that reflects the values of fairness, compassion, and justice.
Our Goals
Election Protection: Our goal is to protect Hawaiʻi’s democracy by stopping election denialism, safeguarding voter registration, and ensuring transparent elections.
Get Out the Vote: Our goal is to encourage non-active or undecided voters in pivotal districts to participate in the upcoming local elections.
Hawai'i Representation: Our goal is to support candidates who will fearlessly fight for the needs of the people of Hawai‘i, both on the local and national stages.
Protect Hawai'i from ICE: Our goal is to mobilize our community to support and protect immigrants through education, advocacy, rapid response, and partnerships with organizations fighting for immigrant justice.
Rush-Hour Resistance: Our goal is to educate our community through roadside messaging, and inspire our neighbors to join us in fighting fascism and protecting our democracy.
