Kona Indivisible is a local group working to close the information gap between voters and the people running to represent them. As part of that effort, we've reached out to the candidates below, asking them to sign the KIND Candidate Pledge — read the full text here — and commit to the values and priorities our community has organized around, from good government and campaign transparency to affordability, immigrant safety, climate justice, and equity.
Want to hear directly from candidates? Check out our candidate interviews from our July 12, 2026 candidate forum on Hawaiʻi Island.
Outreach so far has focused on nonpartisan and Democratic Party candidates for state and county office — races that most directly affect daily life on our island. View the full list of 2026 candidates at the Hawaiʻi Office of Elections.
Signing the pledge isn't an endorsement from Kona Indivisible — it's a public, on-the-record commitment from the candidate for voters to see for themselves. As candidates sign, we'll link their name to their campaign website below.
We'll update this list as candidates respond ahead of the August 8, 2026 primary.
