On July 12, 2026, in a special community event at Old Airport on the Big Island, we interviewed statewide elected officials and primary candidates. Statewide race for Lieutenant Governor
Learn more about State House Representative Della Au Belatti, who is running for Lieutenant Governor. Indivisible has endorsed Della for this race.
What's especially notable about Della is that, unlike others in this race, she refuses dark money — a rare stand in a system where PAC funding is the norm. She was also instrumental in making Act 11 (SB2471) law — the first measure in the US to block dark money and mitigate the damage from Citizens United.
District 5 race for the Hawai'i House of Representatives
Representative Jeanné Kapela, who is running for re-election for her seat in District 5, made her case for why she is the right person to continue her work in the State House of Representatives.
District 2 race for the Hawai'i County Council
JoNelle Fukushima is the candidate for the Hawaiʻi County Council in District 2.
District 6 race for the Hawai'i County Council
A crowded field, so it seems, with four candidates making their case to be voted onto the Hawai'i County Council for District 6: Justin Canelas, Guy Enriques, Kyle Kepano Jones, and Jason Masters.
