For more than a year, millions of people have come together to send a clear message: in America, we have no dictators. Power doesn't belong to billionaires, strongmen, or politicians who think they're above accountability — it belongs to the people, but only if we use it. October 17 is the next step: not purely a protest, but a day of nonpartisan voter participation. We’re turning people power into voter power.

We know voting early is crucial in giving us the agency to make our voices heard, before the last-minute chaos, and before anyone else can decide what happens next.

No Dictators: Hands Off My Vote is about making sure every eligible voter has a plan to vote early, knows their options, and is ready to make their voice count. Because in America, the people choose their leaders. Leaders do not get to choose who votes, whose voices matter, or what future our communities deserve.

No Dictators: Hands Off Our Vote is intended to be a different model of mass public engagement from previous No Dictators mobilizations in that we’re focusing on action and impact with an emphasis on early voting.

We’ve built historic marches, we’ve protested on a previously unseen scale — and now we take that power to the polls. Because we know voting is a local action — we need to activate our own communities to participate where we live. That's why we’re prioritizing local engagements. For generations, everyday people have changed the course of this country by organizing, marching, and voting. Progress has always been won when people who have been pushed aside come together, claim their power, and demand to be heard.

Our role as voters doesn’t end when we cast our ballot. These events are designed to bring people into the work at a massive scale and then, if needed, ensure every No Dictators: Protect Our Vote attendee continues taking action with upcoming election protection campaigns.

We decide. We will also use the event to collect non-perishable food for our hungry neighbors and to wave signs to express our outrage about the many illegal, immoral, and literally evil actions President, this Congress and this Supreme Court have enabled!

Location: 1077 Manawai St, Kapolei, HI 96707, Kapolei Regional Park starting at the corner of Manawai Street across from the Kapolei Police Station with sign-waving extending down the sidewalk along Farrington Highway towards Kapowai Place.
