Kaua‘i Indivisible was formed to help island residents take concrete, coordinated actions to ensure our elected officials fight for our priorities and values: respect, integrity, compassion, civil rights, religious tolerance, equal treatment, economic fairness, environmental stewardship, strong public education, affordable healthcare, science-based policymaking, and full democratic representation.

Indivisible Kaua‘i was started by Lee Anne after Donald Trump was inaugurated. She held the first meeting at a restaurant in Kalaheo and over 50 people showed up! Indivisible Kaua’i participated in the first Women’s March and many other rallies and marches throughout the Trump years in the White House including Impeach Trump, Show Us Your Taxes, Families Belong Together, Women’s Rights, Science and Gun Safety marches.

In 2021 Margie took the reins of the group, along with Julie, and grew the group into a national Blue Wave powerhouse postcarding team, effectively postcarding through every major election and contributing to our statewide effort to win back the House, Senate, and keep the White House.
