Indivisible East Oʻahu

Service area: East Oʻahu

Taking a stand on the streets of East Oʻahu — showing up every week to wave signs and make democracy visible.

Indivisible East Oʻahu was founded in early 2025 by local activist Phil Estermann, known for his work with Save Sandy Beach, who saw a gap in organized resistance on the eastern side of the island and set out to fill it. Starting with a small group of friends and neighbors, the chapter secured a meeting place, made resistance banners, and got to work.

The chapter is known for its consistent weekly presence on Kalanianaʻole Highway, sign-waving at the corner of Kalanianaʻole Hwy and Keahole Street every Wednesday morning and evening. If you drive by, honk — or better yet, come join them.
