OUR 2025 GOALS
Hui Aloha ‘O Hawai‘i has recently expanded to become a statewide wing of the Indivisible Hawai‘i Statewide Network. Many of our members are ministers or those with faith-based backgrounds. One of our goals is to invite faith-based individuals and groups focusing on social justice to join us. We also have many members in the helping professions – physicians, therapists, etc. Drawing from the expertise of Chapter members, we engage with the intersections of health/well-being and social justice that impact our communities, such as advocating for vaccines, and continuing to support advancements in medical research.
ABOUT US
Our Chapter was formed immediately after the first Trump election. Many of our initial members were on Maui, but as we grew, our membership expanded to all islands, the US continent, and the world. We launched the ShineYourLight.us website to encourage people of all faiths to join us in taking actions that promote social justice.
